JOB AS SCHOOL BUS DRIVER

A school bus driver has the important mission to ensure that students get the safest transportation possible. Bus drivers must have high verbal and listening communication skills and the ability to deal with large groups of people.

 

Getting a job as school bus driver is not an easy task. All drivers receive intensive training in driving and education about the current school bus regulation and traffic laws. A school bus driver must pass drug and alcohol tests, must pass a psycho-physical test, attend additional training seasons, and have a clean driving record. Additionally, the department of justice of the state checks the background of all the applicants.
 

 

Applicants must show attributes like honesty, trustworthy, respect, sensitivity, flexibility, work ethics.
