Interview Questions

In this page, you will see a broad range of topics that deal with job interviews and job interview questions. We know that you would like to be prepared, and this is why we've elaborated different sections that deal with other topics such as resumes, education degrees, additional courses, translations, jobs, second interviews, salary negotiations, etc. These are interesting topics that you would definitely want to know more about.

We are trying to help you to understand how to behave in an interview. Depending on your field of work, you will have to answer to interview questions that will reflect your capacity to immerse yourself into the field. Some questions are general and they are asked to everyone regardless of their work as secretaries, lawyers, interpreters, managers, etc. These questions mainly cover topics such as ethics and professionalism, for example. This is why this page has put a lot of emphasis on the interview questions since the answers of these questions aren't really simple.

LET'S TALK ABOUT FIRST IMPRESSIONS

You've already sent your resume, and you've gotten a call for an interview. This means that your resume has been impressive enough to reflect your personality and now you've got a chance to obtain the job. Your employer wants to meet you so, you must prepare yourself for the job interview; otherwise, you may say something that could be misinterpreted because you haven't selected the right words. Do not memorize your answers; rather, just read our job interview questions in order to assimilate the kind of questions that your employer will probably ask you.

LET'S TALK ABOUT BODY LANGUAGE

Now, you may think that you've got it covered with genuine answers. No, you must work on your body language; your attitude always accompanies your words and your employer will certainly pay attention to the way that you behave. If you don't want to appear tense, you may want to arrive like twenty minutes earlier so then you can gather all your thoughts and relax yourself. If you remain tense, your employer may feel uncomfortable. Maintain eye contact.

Sometimes, there is more than one person in a job interview. This does not happen frequently, unless you are a businessman and you're applying for a CEO position. In this case, look at the eye to the person that is asking most of the questions. Every few minutes try to look at the others. This is how you recognize the presence of others in your interview, and this is absolutely appreciated. We may also add additional recommendations such as: don't try to play with your pencil, if you have brought one. Don't chew gum. You don't want to appear nervous, arrogant or overconfident. Act naturally.
